I can’t believe it’s blog No. 3.

Orijen! It’s now officially become our fastest selling pet food.

I can’t believe it’s blog No. 3. The past three months have really shot by.
Thanks for all your messages. Especially from ‘Rusty’ and owner Charlotte who won the ‘Nicest Coat’ category at this years St Margaret’s Dog Show. Charlotte tells me “It’s all down to Orijen dog food. His coat has never been so glossy.” I’ll definitely be coming back for more.

Which takes me on to my next point. You remember how a few weeks back I told you about ‘the new kid in town’ Orijen dog and cat food? Well, it’s now officially become our fastest selling pet food.

After trying the sample packs people are coming back for the larger packs all with glowing recommendations of how their dog/cat’s eyes, coat, appetite, weight have improved. If you don’t believe us, go on to the website www.dogfoodanalysis.com and type in your current brand of food. See if it matches the six stars they give Orijen. O.K.?? I wouldn’t eat anything else.

And talking of the St Margarets Dog Show, it was amazing, (see last blog) and rumour has it that next year it’s going to be even bigger and noisier.  I wasn’t allowed to enter any of the categories as my owners sponsor the show and it was considered a conflict of interest (outrageous!) – but I probably would have won any category I went in for.

Now as it’s the annual Summer Silly Season here in the shop my owners are dropping the prices on a selection of goods so we can make space for the autumn and Christmas ranges later in the year. For example there is a 50% reduction on the Patch & Scott ‘Hampton’ range of dog collars with a further £5.00 off matching leads. The same goes for selected 'Bobby' collars, ‘Linky’ and ‘Dog Design’ diamante named collars. So, a very good reason for buying on-line or dropping in to the shop.

Milo the Shih Tzu is doing very well thank you. He’s had all his injections now and is busily strutting his stuff around St Margarets like he owns the place. He’s now 18-weeks old, very hairy and now resembles one of Chewbacca’s feet. He is due for his first grooming session at The Waggery in Barnes soon.

Well that’s it for this month. If there is anything you'd like us to stock or any questions you'd like answered please email me at: blue@absolute-pets.co.uk or hit the 'Add A Comment' box below and send me a message. Drop in again soon and I’ll tell you of the latest pet gadgets we’ll be getting in for Christmas.

Woof!

Blue.

Re: I can’t believe it’s blog No. 3.

Hi Blue,
After reading about your trials and tribulations concerning those fur-balls you have to live with (cats), sauntering along with slit eyes and noses in the air. I can totally sympathise with you.  I'm a British Bulldog (and proud of it) and like yourself have a family tree that goes back many generations. These cats come over here pretending to be sweet and friendly, purring away so they can get the pick of the chairs and prime spots on the bed, while when we give a friendly yap we're thrown out into the pouring rain.  I mean what’s that about? I don't see cats crossing the frozen Alps carrying a barrel of brandy to assist travellers in distress, or digging through rubble to save earth-quake victims, or running to the door to collect our master's newspaper, and keeping the house safe from felons and unwanted visitors etc.  And what are them felines doing? Only lying in front of the fire asleep that's what!  It’s not right! By the way I walked past your shop last week and saw you standing by the door greeting customers with a friendly yap and a tail wag while them felines were nowhere to be seen.  Talk about having it cushy!  By the way my master wishes to buy me a present, what do you suggest from your store of delights?  (I fancy a new coat personally, or a studded collar, but what do you recommend?)

Merry Christmas
