Hello. And welcome to my new blog page. It’s actually come at a good time me typing this blog because last week I pulled a ligament in my back leg and I can't walk. I’ve got to stay in the upstairs bedroom till it’s mended. My mistress has put me on CORTIFLEX to help heal the ligament; I’ll let you know how it goes. The past week has been really boring for me staying indoors, so this new blog will really keep me occupied and help me focus … ooh look! Next door's dog is barking at a cat. Go boy! Show ‘em who’s boss! Stuck up little creatures. I live with two Tonkinese so I know how he feels. Oh, now the cat’s gone and run up a tree. COWARDS! They never stand and fight.

Now about the shop, this week we’ve got some new food in. Now normally Absolute Pets do all the good stuff like Arden Grange, Burns, James Wellbeloved, Almo Nature, Hills, Naturediet etc.(and I get to taste them all) But there’s a new kid in town by the name of ORIJEN, it’s from Canada and it’s the first pet food that is scientifically tailored for cats and dogs by leaving grain out of the menu. ORIJEN’S thinking is ‘dogs and cats don’t eat grain in the wild so why should we feed it to them? Makes sense. Although I did once find a bread roll on Hampstead Heath, tasted marvellous. ORIJEN is just fresh meat (chicken, salmon, white fish kind of stuff). I’ve been on it for three weeks and I feel great (apart from the ligament thingy). My coat is really glossy and shiny. AND! You don’t have to eat so much of it either so that should help with my diet. And they also do it for our feline friends.

 So that’s the food. We also do a range of incredible waterproof dog beds which only have to be hosed down when they get a little grubby. So no more clogging up the washing machine with hairy dog beds. Check out the website.

On the cat accessory front (and personally as regarding cats, self-serving little flea bags, I could not give a monkey’s) there is a new range of disposable cat scratchers for £5.99 in the shop AND you can get replacements for them when the old one wears out. A bargain or what?! As for the dogs, we’ve got some new T-shirts in, black ones with a diamante bone on the back and the other with ‘Security’ in white letters. Look pretty cool I can tell you.
